There are two such events in our country: one in Moscow and one in St. Petersburg. There is also a lemonade packaging design competition for designers, as well as a competition for female photographers.
ARCH Moscow. Next
As part of the international exhibition forum "ARCH Moscow", a competition is launched aimed at young architectural firms that have existed for less than ten years. The winning teams will be able to present their work in a special project, Next!, which will take place from May 27 to 30, 2026, at Gostiny Dvor.
To participate, you must submit your firm's portfolio, a video pitch no longer than three minutes long, and a motivation letter. Selection will be based on those who demonstrate a contemporary approach to design, the use of innovative technologies, and environmentally friendly solutions.
The theme of the Next section is "Architectural Utopia. In Search of the Ideal." Architectural studios are invited to showcase their vision of the ideal: a perfect project, a flawless building, an optimal engineering solution, or an ideal urban landscape.
Finalists must pay a registration fee of 100,000 rubles. Their projects will be presented in the Next category. The winner will receive 150,000 rubles for training in Stemps courses, publication in the IND Telegram channel, the opportunity to record a podcast with a curator, and the chance to organize an exhibition at the ARCH Moscow 2027 exhibition.
The application deadline is November 30, 2025.
PhMuseum 2025 Women Photographer Grant
The grant, aimed at supporting gender equality in the arts, offers participants the opportunity to present their photographs on a variety of topics. The prizes are impressive: winners will receive €10,000, a solo exhibition at PhMuseum Lab, an interview with Vogue Italia, and participation in the PhotoVogue 2025 festival. There will also be six online portfolio reviews, up to nine honorable mentions, and 40 shortlisted projects.
The deadline for applications is October 2, 2025.
Architectural Award "Arkhitekton"
The St. Petersburg Union of Architects is organizing a competition open to projects and structures developed within the past four years in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region. The competition includes several categories: residential complexes and buildings (both completed and planned), public buildings and spaces (both in their respective forms), a special prize for young architects, "Architecton + Locus" (including diplomas, projects, and objects), and the festival's Grand Prix. Participation in the main categories requires a fee of 30,000 rubles. However, participation is free for young architects (under 35) and firms established for less than 5 years.
The final works of the participants will be presented at the large-scale festival "Architecton MMXXV", which will be held at the Manege Central Exhibition Hall from October 23 to November 2, 2025. The jury included such experts as Yuri Avvakumov, Vadim Bass, Yuri Grigoryan, Eduard Kubensky, Sergey Kuznetsov, Elizaveta Likhacheva, Ksenia Malich, Anna Martovitskaya, Mikheil Mikadze, Andrey Moguchy, Oleg Romanov, Nika Strizhak, Yulia Tarabarina, Nikita Tokarev, Narine Tyutcheva, Anton Finogenov, Vladimir Frolov, Dmitry Shvidkovsky, Yulia Shishalova, and Nikolay Shumakov.

Packaging design competition for the Lapochka lemonade brand from ENDY
The Lapochka brand, together with the ENDY studio, is launching a competition to create a label design for a new lemonade with a unique flavor: sagaan dali, blueberry, and lavender. The best work will be used for printing on the actual product packaging. The design must reflect natural motifs of Russia and also comply with Lapochka's brand book and printing requirements.
