"Vacation": film screening and conversation with the creator

A homage to the work "One Hundred Days After Childhood." Young teacher Tanya and the head of the educational department, Maria Genrikhovna, are heading to a festival in Sochi with a school theater group. They, in front of twelve teenagers, face a difficult choice: to speak out against censorship or agree to a compromise. At the same time, the children are going through the process of growing up, facing their first dramas, and preparing a play called "Strawberry Wine."

Inside Llewyn Davis is a film that immerses the viewer in the world of folk music, telling the story of the struggles and dreams of a young musician named Llewyn Davis. Llewyn, an independent and talented performer, faces many difficulties: from financial problems to personal disappointments. He tries to find his place in the music industry, but constant failures and a lack of support from others call his future into question.

The film explores themes of loneliness and the desire for self-expression. Llewyn, despite his talent, finds himself trapped by failures, which forces him to reconsider his priorities and goals in life. Relationships with friends and acquaintances who are also trying to make it in the music world reveal how difficult it can be to find support in a creative environment.

"Inside Llewyn Davis" is more than just a story about a musician; it is a profound and insightful mirror reflecting the internal conflicts and social realities of its time. The film immerses us in the atmosphere of that era, forcing us to think about the price of success and the true meaning of artistic expression.

The film, directed by the Coen brothers, was warmly received at the Cannes Film Festival but was overlooked at the Oscars. The main character is a folk musician with a complex personality who wanders through strangers' houses, experiences irritation, searches for his cat, and strives for fame.
