Neural networks certainly have potential in the field of app and website design, but they cannot completely replace humans in this process. Design requires logical thinking and a deep understanding of the needs of a specific target audience. For example, you can’t simply entrust a neural network with creating a hotel booking website, since artificial intelligence will not be able to develop the entire user journey on its own. A human approach to design remains indispensable, as only a specialist can consider all the nuances of user interaction and create a truly user-friendly and intuitive interface. Currently, there are various AI-powered services that significantly simplify the process of creating app and website prototypes. For example, I recently tested Uizard, a service that offers the unique ability to upload a scan of your hand-drawn sketch. Using AI, this service can generate a screen prototype including images, text, and buttons. Uizard also offers a variety of templates, color palette generators, and an image generation tool. It also allows you to track how users perceive content. Currently in beta, a feature for creating screens based on text descriptions is available, making the process even more convenient and intuitive for users. Various AI-powered plugins for Figma are currently being actively developed. One such example is Genius, which acts as an assistant, analyzing your actions and automatically adding necessary elements such as input fields, headings, and buttons. Another interesting tool is Galileo AI, which allows you to create interfaces similar to the image generation process in Midjourney. Currently, these plugins are only available privately or are on a waitlist.

It's important to consider that the correct integration of neural networks into the development process can significantly increase team efficiency and improve the final result. There are many neural networks designed for various tasks, such as prototyping and image generation. However, I prefer to use ChatGPT exclusively to obtain the necessary information. With its help, I can formulate project goals using the SMART methodology, identify business and user problems, and generate hypotheses based on specified templates. I delegate all tasks that take longer than necessary to the chat, significantly increasing my productivity.

It's important to remember that neural networks can make mistakes, so you shouldn't rely on them completely. Regularly check their results to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the information.

While working on one project, I decided to test the chat's capabilities for compiling competitor lists, including direct, secondary, and indirect ones. However, when I was generating the second or third item in each category, the chat started returning fictitious services. This highlights the importance of a cautious and thoughtful approach to using neural networks. Don't forget to verify information and use additional sources to confirm data.

A UX/UI designer is a specialist who designs user interfaces and improves user interaction with digital products. The main task of a UX/UI designer is to create intuitive and attractive interfaces that provide a positive user experience and contribute to the achievement of business goals.

UX design (User Experience) focuses on the analysis of user needs, their behavior and interaction with the product. Designers conduct research, develop user personas and prototypes, and test solutions to ensure the product meets user expectations. UI (User Interface) design focuses on the visual aspects of the interface, such as color palette, typography, iconography, and overall aesthetics. UI designers create visual elements that not only attract attention but also ensure ease of use. The importance of a UX/UI designer's work cannot be overstated, as high-quality design directly impacts user satisfaction and, consequently, the success of a product in the marketplace. A good UX/UI designer understands current trends, tools, and methodologies, allowing them to create effective and innovative solutions for various platforms and devices. I use neural networks to automatically substitute real content for common examples, such as "fish." This allows me to significantly reduce the time spent researching topics and begin working on client projects more quickly.

I work at a young design studio, where we are currently developing a comprehensive system for digitizing processes at a medical company that has not previously had similar solutions. Our clients are not experienced interface users, so it is difficult for them to evaluate our work without the context of their medical activities. In this situation, using boilerplate text and placeholders is impractical. Although I do not have in-depth knowledge of medicine and its terminology, ChatGPT is very helpful. This tool allows me to better understand the specific needs of clients and create more precise and useful solutions for their business.

We provide clients not just concepts, but ready-made pages with content and basic styles. This allows them to quickly understand the purpose of each interface page and provide more accurate feedback. The approval process is becoming less cumbersome, allowing us to immediately begin working on the interface in detail and save time on refinements.

I've been experimenting with ChatGPT in various ways. Initially, I formulated detailed queries in English, but the model has improved significantly. Now I simply message it in Russian, like I would a good friend. For example, I might ask, "Describe a project related to the use of neural networks in medicine." In response, I get the project name and goals. If I need more detail, such as a description or project results, I formulate my request like this: "Write a description of the project in three sentences." This allows me to get the information I need quickly and conveniently. Interacting with the chat has become incredibly comfortable, and I can instantly see how the page structure with text on the layout will look. I use this tool every day.
