The works, executed in a unique technique, represent an intriguing blend of traditional and contemporary approaches. Each project demonstrates originality and creativity, as well as the artist's skill. Unusual methods include the use of unconventional materials, innovative tools, and atypical techniques, allowing us to create works of art that stand out from the crowd. These works not only attract attention but also evoke deep emotions in viewers, raising questions about the nature of art and its perception. Importantly, this technique opens up new horizons for self-expression and inspiration, making each work unique and memorable.
One of my series at the Soyuz project stand is made using drypoint technique on cotton and framed in wooden frames. Drypoint is a hand-printing technique in which the image is first scratched onto a special plate. Ink is then rubbed into the resulting "scratches," excess is removed, and a press transfers the image to the surface—in this case, fabric. This technique allows for unique textures and details, making each piece truly original.

The choice of medium is of paramount importance for conveying content. Each medium has unique characteristics that influence how information is perceived. For example, visual elements can heighten an emotional response, while text allows for a deeper analysis of ideas and concepts. The right medium helps to most effectively convey key ideas and make them accessible to a wider audience. Therefore, it is important to consider how each medium influences the content and its reception.
In this series, I am interested in the transformations and changes that occur in the female body at various stages of life: from adolescence and menarche to pregnancy and childbirth. Across cultures, women have often been accompanied by violent rituals associated with these important transitions. These rituals reflect cultural norms and notions of female identity, highlighting the complexity and diversity of experiences associated with the female body.
Scratching, known as "scarring," on the surface, executed using the drypoint technique, reflects the collective female experience. The printed fabrics are framed in massive wooden frames that do not conceal them, but rather emphasize the vulnerability and openness of these works. This approach emphasizes the importance of female experience and sensitivity, creating a profound connection between art and viewer.
In my subjects, I seek to restore the power of women's bodies by connecting them to chthonic narratives. In these stories, spiders, snakes, bees, and wasps are not perceived as demons, but become symbols of the feminine principle and important elements of natural cycles of life, death, growth, and destruction. This approach allows us to rethink women's connection to nature and their inner strength, highlighting the uniqueness and importance of these aspects in a contemporary context.

When storing and displaying artwork, there are certain rules that help keep it in good condition. It is important to consider factors such as humidity, temperature, and lighting. It is recommended to store artwork in climate-controlled rooms where the temperature fluctuates between 18-22°C and the humidity is 40-60%. Avoid direct sunlight, which can cause fading and damage to materials. For display, it is best to use UV filters on the glass frames and choose locations with minimal exposure to the external environment. These simple rules will help extend the life of the artwork and preserve its aesthetic value.
The fabric in these works is exposed, which requires special attention to prevent damage. It retains its translucency and gracefully glows when additional lighting is used. It is also important to maintain optimal temperature and humidity conditions to avoid deformation of the wooden frames. Compliance with these recommendations will help preserve the aesthetic qualities of the works.

A unique work was presented at the stand, which attracted the attention of all visitors. This project combined innovative technology and artistic expression. Using unconventional materials and methods, the artist created an interactive piece that allowed viewers to interact with it. The uniqueness of the work lay in its ability to change based on visitors' actions, creating a unique experience for everyone. This unusual work became a shining example of how art and technology can intersect, bringing new ideas and emotions to the world of art. This approach to creating exhibition pieces makes them more engaging and memorable.
Gallerist Rika Tikhonenko describes a dress made of fabric resembling crumpled paper, with piercings and inserts through which pencil stubs are threaded. These pencils became the tools with which Dasha created all of her graphics on the stand. The remains of these pencils appear as energetic artifacts, reflecting the artist's unique world.
The artist's graphics focus on the tools of her creative process, including pencils, details of her body, and elements of clothing. She draws parallels between the display of her work at the fair and the act of undressing, emphasizing that dress becomes an important element of the installation. This interaction between instruments, body, and clothing creates a deep connection with the process of creativity and self-expression.
