Learn MoreParticipating in competitions is an important step in promoting your work and gaining recognition. How else can you attract the attention of professionals like Neville Brody or potential Uniqlo buyers around the world? Competitions are not only an opportunity to showcase your skills but also a challenge, as the requirements often differ from your usual field of work. This is a chance to expand your horizons and try something new. We've compiled a list of several current competitions for you to participate in until the end of July, including a competition from a popular Japanese brand that's open to everyone, not just designers.
Open Call from Generative Gallery and the Prostor Creative Platform
A competition for creative people who want to showcase their work on a media façade. Participants are invited to create a digital video for the media façade of the Digital Technologies Center, located on Pokrovka Street in Moscow. The competition theme is "Transforming the Future," covering areas such as assistive technologies, exploration of new planets, and artificial intelligence. Detailed rules of participation and the application form can be found on the project's VK page.

Application deadline: July 30, 2023.
JAGDA 2023 International Student Poster Competition
A poster competition for posters created over the past year is being held in Japan. The main requirement for participation is the inclusion of the word "Share" in the work. This word can be used either in a slogan or on its own. The competition jury includes Katsuhiko Shibuya and Neville Brody. The winning works will be published in a catalog and displayed at an exhibition. A registration fee of 1,000 Japanese yen is required to participate in the competition.

Applications are due until July 31 2023. Make sure your application is submitted on time to avoid missing your opportunity to participate.
Open Call for Ceramic Artists from the Palaty Concept Store
Competitions that require physical objects, rather than digital images, are rare. The Palaty Concept Store, which operates in Moscow and St. Petersburg, invites participants to send their portfolios and biographies to n7@palatystore.ru with the subject line OC4. The best works will be displayed in the store's showrooms, providing a unique opportunity to gain a wider audience and recognition.

Applications will be accepted until July 31, 2023. Don't miss the opportunity to submit your application before this deadline.
"Wooden Code of Russia"
This isn't Archstoyanie, but the All-Russian Museum of Decorative Arts is one of the organizers, guaranteeing high jury standards and a fair level of competition. Participants must submit a design project for a wooden art object in the Russian style, which must be realistic and original. The best works will be built and will become part of the museum's open-air exhibition for three years. This is a unique opportunity for artists and designers to showcase their talents and contribute to the development of Russian artistic culture.

Applications are due by July 31, 2023.
UTGP2024
The annual T-shirt design competition from Uniqlo and its partners once again attracts creative minds. Last year, participants were inspired by brands like Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel, and this year the focus is on the Louvre. Participants are invited to explore the museum's collection and create a unique design, interpreting famous works of art or highlighting interesting pieces that may otherwise escape the attention of viewers. The competition is open to anyone who considers themselves creative, regardless of profession, age, gender, or nationality. The grand prize includes $20,000 and a private tour of the Louvre. The winning design will also be part of the UNIQLO UT Spring/Summer 2024 collection, giving entrants the chance to see their work on T-shirts available to the general public.

Applications are due September 15, 2023. Please ensure your application is submitted by the deadline to avoid missing your opportunity to participate.
