Dance performance "Four Points of Reference" in the Zotov space

The dance performance "Four Points of Reference" will be presented at the Context festival, created specifically for the Zotov center with the participation of Diana Vishneva and the Saga architectural bureau. In their work, the authors strive to draw parallels between constructivist architecture and contemporary choreography. Frank Zappa once remarked that discussing music can be compared to dancing about architecture. The project's curators see nothing negative in this and are confident that both are of great importance.

The event will take place on April 23 or 24 at 8:00 PM.

Printing Weekend at Zotov

The Zotov Center will host an event called "Live Print Exchange," which will feature an exhibition of participants, as well as master classes and lectures dedicated to modern methods of printing graphics and the art of circulation.

On the first floor of the center, throughout the weekend, visitors will be able to see 60 works made in various techniques, such as linocut, silkscreen printing, etching, drypoint, lithography, woodcut, photo etching and cyanotype. Particular attention will be paid to the possibility of exchanging prints.

Collage Club Meetings at GES-2

Collages dedicated to synesthesia, works in the style of surreal automatism, works on the theme of resorts, and collages for playing cards—all of this can be created at the workshops held weekly at GES-2. There's something for every taste. You can attend a single class or become a regular member.

Dates: April 25, as well as 2, 10, 16, May 23rd and 30th.

Upcycling Pop-Up Shop at Ground Solyanka

Upcycling is the process of reusing old items with various modifications—both minimal and more significant. This can include things like cutting, sewing, or adding details, such as from a grandmother's blanket. As part of the current biennale dedicated to the theme "Textiles in Contemporary Art", which is taking place at Ground Solyanka, a unique pop-up store was opened, presenting works by Russian designers and artists, each of which is a one-of-a-kind copy.

HSE Fashion Days at Tsvetnoy Space

A number of significant events took place in one day: a presentation of a book about Martin Margiela, published by V-A-C Press, master classes on fashion sketching and creating fashion posters were held. Participants could take part in public talks dedicated to education and modern trends in fashion, and also witnessed the award ceremony of the finalists of the Fashion Futures competition. In addition, a discussion on The Blueprint took place, which discussed the culture of celebrity dressing. At the end of the day, a meeting with a surprise guest was organized.
