Furniture Collection by Molteni&C
In 2023, the Italian furniture brand Molteni&C collaborated with Belgian designer Vincent van Duysen, who created a series of laconic interior pieces distinguished by elegant forms and harmonious shades. Among the company's new products are the stylish Augusto sofa, the exquisite Ovidio bed, the comfortable Paula armchair, and the modern Mateo dining table. These products reflect the Molteni&C philosophy of combining functionality and aesthetics, making them the ideal choice for creating a contemporary interior.

Van Duysen continues to use his characteristic minimalist style in this project. The designer chose a massive cylindrical leg as a base for the green table, which gives the furniture stability and originality. The backrest and seat of the chair are located at an angle, providing a comfortable position for the back. The bed features an elegant and modern design, with a wide, soft headboard that adds coziness and style to the interior.

Xylophone Sculpture
Sound engineers from the Japanese studio Invisi presented a unique xylophone-shaped sculpture in France. This work of art is made of wooden slats arranged in a fan shape, emphasizing the harmony between sound and visual art. The sculpture attracts attention with its original design and quality of materials, reflecting the cultural traditions of Japan and a modern approach to the creation of musical instruments.

The authors of the project sought to show the process of creating music. A wooden ball is placed on top of the structure and then rolls down the steps, creating a unique melody. This spectacular approach illustrates how simple elements can combine to form a musical piece.
School Chair
French artist Prisca Razafindrakoto presented a unique collection of school chairs, Mullca 510. These chairs attract attention thanks to their unusual design. At first glance, the backrests and seats appear to be upholstered in soft, glossy fabric, but they are actually made of thin copper sheets. This material creates a visual effect reminiscent of textiles, giving the chairs a stylish and modern look. The Mullca 510 collection combines functionality and artistic expression, making it ideal for modern learning spaces.

Installation on the facade
The Paris Opera Garnier is being transformed into an art project throughout September, led by renowned artist JR. Due to the building's restoration, scaffolding has been installed on its façade, providing the foundation for a unique work of art. JR is using this opportunity to transform the appearance of the famous theater, drawing attention to its culture and architecture.
To preserve the harmony of the cityscape, the artist decided to design the façade as a cave. The majestic building with its columns appears to be pierced by a huge hole, revealing a view of the jagged cliffs. This motif in the painting highlights the fragility of the city's historical monuments and reminds us of the need to treat them with care. This artistic solution not only attracts the attention of passers-by, but also creates a unique context in which contemporary art interacts with historical architecture.

Sculptures by Vincent Beaurain
An exhibition of works by Vincent Beaurain, renowned for his abstract sculptures, is on view in Paris until early October. Most of his works are made of polystyrene in vibrant shades, giving them a unique visual style. Beaurain also creates bronze works, expanding his creative range. The exhibition provides an excellent opportunity to see the works of one of the contemporary masters and appreciate his approach to art.

Glass Installation
A unique glass installation by the famous stained glass artist Emmanuel Barrois was presented during Design Week in Paris, in the Palais Royal garden. This project, called Reflexions, attracts attention with its originality and creative approach to the use of glass. The installation creates impressive light effects and reflections, emphasizing the harmony between art and nature. Barrois's works demonstrate not only the mastery of stained glass but also its ability to transform space, creating an atmosphere of magic and inspiration.

The 15-meter-high installation is an impressive structure reminiscent of scaffolding, but made of glass instead of metal beams. In this work, the designer masterfully uses daylight and transparent materials, creating a unique play of light and a kaleidoscope of shades. Dramatic light reflections and refractions demonstrate how glass can transform space, introducing dynamism and variability. This installation not only attracts attention but also inspires awareness of the power of light and material in contemporary art.
The Reflexions exhibition will be on display in France until mid-November, after which it will travel to Italy and Japan.
Mickey Mouse Chair
As part of Design Week, Iranian-French architect India Mahdavi presented the Mickey armchair, created for the European furniture brand Gebrüder Thonet. The chair's name comes from the characteristic "ears" on the back, a reference to the famous cartoon character Mickey Mouse. This design solution highlights a playful approach to furniture and its functionality, and also demonstrates Mahdavi’s unique style that combines tradition and modernity. The Mickey chair will be a bright accent in any interior, bringing a touch of fun and originality to it.

The furniture is made of ebony, creating a striking contrast with the green upholstery. A beige version is also available, adding warmth and coziness to the interior.
