Motifs ad Infinitum: Remediations in Time Project
An impressive project that caught my attention was the work of my friend Selcuk Artut. He is a multidisciplinary designer, musician, and professor at Sabanci University in Istanbul. Selcuk successfully combines programming, music, design, and multimedia art, creating unique works that inspire and expand the boundaries of traditional notions of design and art.
The multimedia project Motifs ad Infinitum: Remediations in Time continues Artut's research into identifying mathematical patterns in graphic patterns. In 2023, Apress published his book Geometric Patterns with Creative Coding, which explores these themes in detail. The project is a stunning multimedia installation that immerses viewers in a world of harmony and structure, demonstrating a unique combination of art and science.
Starting in October 2025, the HSE School of Design in St. Petersburg will launch a second original course, Creative Coding, led by Selcuk Artut. This course will provide a unique opportunity for students to deepen their knowledge of creative programming, which will be an important step in their professional development. Students will be able to learn modern methods and tools that will help them create innovative projects at the intersection of art and technology.

Oded Ezer Exhibition
The third project that deserves attention is Oded Ezer's solo exhibition entitled «The Samsa Enigma». It took place at the Jewish Museum in Prague and was timed to coincide with the 140th anniversary of Franz Kafka's birth. The exhibition explores Kafka's influence on contemporary art and offers viewers a unique interpretation of his legacy through the work of Oded Ezer.
The exhibition presents a unique graphic interpretation of Franz Kafka's "The Metamorphosis." However, in this context, the literary source serves more as a starting point for Oded's profound graphic self-reflection. His works immerse the viewer in a world of internal transformations and existential experiences, making the exhibition relevant and in demand. The graphic elements used by the artist allow him to explore complex themes related to identity and change, emphasizing Kafka's significance in contemporary art.
Ezer is known as a talented typographer, creator of unique typefaces, and a creative designer who constantly pushes the boundaries of design. However, through this exhibition, he has proven himself to be a powerful, expressive graphic artist. This new facet of his work highlights his mastery of graphic elements and forms, making his work even more impressive and memorable.
