Panzón Mascot: The Unique Face of a Brooklyn Bar

Brooklyn bar and restaurant Panzón has a unique cartoon mascot of the same name. This funny character, lacking arms and possessing an expressive belly, has become a playful personification of Chef Alfredo. The mascot adorns all brand elements, including business cards, menus, stickers, and labels, creating a bright and memorable image for the establishment.

The branding for Panzón was developed by creative studio Saint Urban, which set itself the task of creating a visual concept reflecting a unique combination of Mexican aesthetics and its characteristic roughness. Saint Urban's designers conducted in-depth research into Mexico City's street culture, including graffiti and hand-made signage, allowing them to develop a unique and memorable style. Panzón's aesthetic is a shining example of how traditional and modern elements can be combined to create an engaging image that resonates with its target audience. One of the most memorable design elements is the hand-drawn, casual logo. This design perfectly captures the atmosphere of Mexico City's bar scene. Furthermore, the use of fonts inspired by industrial printing lends the design a unique and memorable character. This approach creates a harmonious combination that emphasizes the individuality of the establishment and attracts the attention of customers.

The recent brand redesign was completed by the renowned local studio Tabasco Agency, renowned for its creative approach and original solutions. Their designers excel at creating eccentric concepts while delivering touching and memorable commercial branding. Tabasco Agency's work is distinguished by a unique style that helps brands stand out from the competition and attract the attention of their target audience.

The Askly logo is created using a flexible and fluid typeface. The unique semicircular shapes of the letters "a" and "r" give the logo a playful character. This modern visual style perfectly reflects the company's philosophy of making customer communication more human and accessible. The logo not only attracts attention but also creates a positive brand image, emphasizing its focus on user needs.

The company mascot is a miniature, slender bird that actively participates in everyday life, including shopping and cycling. This character not only creates a friendly atmosphere but also makes the brand more recognizable and memorable to customers. Its simple yet engaging actions help establish an emotional connection with the audience, strengthening the company's image and increasing consumer loyalty. The mascot and surrounding objects are depicted with thin, clear lines, highlighting their details. Three-dimensional elements of the landscape are depicted with broad, light strokes, creating contrast and attracting viewers' attention. This artistic approach makes the composition visually appealing and facilitates better perception of the image. The contrast between thin and voluminous elements helps highlight key aspects and draw attention to the mascot, emphasizing its importance in the overall composition.

Metafy Brand Update: A New Look at Esports Coaching

In 2020, the Thunder Rockets team developed unique characters for the Metafy esports coaching platform. In response to recent trends, the company decided to update its brand and structure, which necessitated a mascot redesign. Thunder Rockets took on this task once again to create modern and attractive images that enhance the user experience and increase brand awareness.

As a result of the designers' work, the characters underwent a complete redesign. The new images are more proportional, and the eyes have been changed: large white eyes have been replaced with small black ones. These changes give the characters a stylish and modern look, improving their perception and increasing audience interest. The new design emphasizes the individuality of each character and creates a more harmonious feel within the overall artistic style.

One of the most memorable new characters is the spacesuit-wearing mascot with a crown on his head, who has become the platform's symbol. The updated line also features animated office and household items, bringing a playful and humorous element to the brand's image. These innovative characters not only strengthen the visual identity but also help create more engaging and interesting content for users. This approach makes the brand more memorable and relatable to its audience.

A Creative Approach to Design: Cinéma Public

Creating a mascot without a cartoonish image is quite possible. Italian cinema Cinéma Public turned to Polygraphe Studio to develop a unique design reminiscent of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. This solution imbues the brand with originality and emphasizes its local flavor, helping it stand out from the competition. This approach to mascot design helps establish a deep connection with audiences and draw attention to the cultural characteristics of the region.

The cinema's slogan is "Cinema in Motion." The logo, designed by Polygraphe Studio, harmoniously combines the image of a moving film reel and an eye, emphasizing the dynamism and engagement of the audience. The curved, looped font evokes film, and the empty space in the center of the logo creates the effect of a gaze. Posters often feature the Leaning Tower of Pisa, enhancing the visual perception of movement and creating an atmosphere of cinematic dynamism. This combination of design and symbolism attracts attention and creates a unique image of the cinema, emphasizing its desire to offer viewers an unforgettable film-viewing experience.
