Dance performance "Four Points of Reference" at Zotov

The Context Festival presents the dance performance "Four Points of Reference," created by Diana Vishneva in collaboration with the Saga architectural bureau and specifically for the Zotov center. In this unique project, the authors explore the interaction of constructivist architecture and contemporary choreography. As Frank Zappa noted, discussing music is like dancing about architecture. The festival curators emphasize that both directions are of equal value and importance, opening new horizons for the perception of art.

The event will take place on April 23rd or 24th at 8:00 PM.

Print Weekend at Zotov

The Zotov Center will host the Live Print Exchange event, where an exhibition of participants will be held. Master classes and lectures will also be organized on modern printing technologies and the art of printmaking. This event will be an excellent opportunity for professionals and amateurs to learn more about new trends in printing and graphics.

60 works made in various techniques, such as linocut, silkscreen printing, etching, drypoint, lithography, woodcut, photoetching, and cyanotype, will be presented throughout the weekend on the drum on the first floor of the center. This unique print exchange opportunity will allow participants to expand their collections and discover the work of other artists. Don't miss your chance to immerse yourself in the world of graphic art and exchange creative ideas.

At the Collage Club meetings at GES-2

Collages on themes of synesthesia, surreal automatism, resorts, and playing cards are unique creative projects that can be created during workshops at GES-2. These classes are held weekly and offer a variety of techniques, such as gluing, cutting, and creating compositions. You can attend a single meeting or become part of the club to continue developing your skills and immersing yourself in the world of collage art.

The event will be held on April 25, as well as on April 2, 10, 16, May 23rd and 30th.

At the pop-up upcycle shop at Ground Solyanka

Upcycle is the recycling of old items with minimal or significant modifications. This can involve cutting, sewing, or adding elements, for example, from a grandmother's blanket. In conjunction with the biennial "Textiles in Contemporary Art" at Ground Solyanka, a pop-up upcycle shop has opened, featuring unique works by Russian designers and artists. Each item in the store is made in a single copy, which emphasizes the individuality and creativity of the approach to upcycling.

At HSE Fashion Days in Tsvetnaya

Many significant events took place in one day: a presentation of a book about Martin Margiela from V-A-C Press, master classes on fashion sketching and fashion poster design were held. Participants were able to attend public talks on the topics of education and contemporary fashion. There was also an awards ceremony for the finalists of the Fashion Futures competition and a discussion called The Blueprint, dedicated to celebrity dressing. The event concluded with a meeting with a secret guest.
