Signal Art Call 2024

The concept of the Signal 2024 festival is based on string theory, which states that the entire universe consists of homogeneous ultramicroscopic quantum threads. The fluctuations of these threads create an infinite variety of phenomena. The festival includes the development of audiovisual solutions for concert spaces, including scenography, lighting, and, potentially, performative practices. Three grants, ranging from 1.5 to 2.5 million rubles, have been allocated for the implementation of these projects. Festival participants will have a unique opportunity to create innovative works that bridge art and science, immersing viewers in the captivating world of audiovisual art.

The First Uralruin Arch-Residence "Not an Empty Place"

Each village along the Iset River is home to historic churches and abandoned factory buildings. The residency organizers plan to create a "large landscape-ruin park in the Urals" and invite artists and architects to participate in this project. Participants must choose one of the proposed locations, conduct research using the provided materials, or, if desired, visit the site in person. Based on the collected information, an architectural design must be developed. The necessary materials and volunteer assistance will then be provided to implement the project. Participants can expect the process of creating the object to resemble a "summer camp for adults."

The "We Are Collective Actions" Project at Archstoyanie

At the festival, you can organize any collective event and attract like-minded people to help implement it. The process is very simple: just fill out a Google form and create a Telegram chat. We recommend first familiarizing yourself with examples, such as collective shouting followed by listening to the echo or stretching exercises. This is a great opportunity to interact and share experiences in a friendly atmosphere.
