An artist specializing in documentary and Art photographer and photojournalist. Her work focuses on exploring themes related to our relationship with the past and emotional attachment to the places we live. She actively participates in group exhibitions, showcasing her unique approaches to visual storytelling and engagement with history. Natasha Lozinskaya has been practicing documentary photography for over five years, and most of her photo stories are dedicated to life in the Russian hinterland. The "Treasury" project is a unique work for the author, in which she seeks to return to her roots and memories of her childhood spent in the Kirov region. This series of photographs reflects not only Natasha's personal experiences, but also images characteristic of small Russian towns, which makes her work especially significant in the context of contemporary documentary art.

Natasha is a resident and employee of St. Petersburg. She was born in Kirov, also known by its historical name of Vyatka.

As an adult, I return home again, seeking to restore lost memories and a forgotten sense of a world full of fairy tale heroes and exciting adventures. Traveling through the history and culture of my small homeland, I create a visual guide to a wonderland that was once familiar to me and which I want to recreate. This process allows me not only to remember my childhood but also to more deeply understand my place in this amazing world.

Researching this project is an important step toward understanding its key aspects and goals. The project aims to solve current problems and implement effective solutions in the chosen field. In the process, we strive to use innovative approaches and modern technologies, which significantly improves the quality of the results.

The main focus is on analyzing the needs of the target audience and developing a strategy that will be most effective in achieving the stated goals. It is important to note that the project includes both theoretical and practical components, which ensures its comprehensive approach.

Successful implementation of the project requires active cooperation of all stakeholders, which will achieve maximum effect and create a sustainable basis for further development. Ultimately, the project results can have a significant impact on the industry and contribute to its further improvement.

Researching her native region has always been an important task for the author. She approached this topic with particular care, striving to better understand her roots. The desire to explore the region's magical stories arose from her love of literature, as Natasha is a graduate of the Literary Institute. Her professional experience and passion for literature inspire new discoveries and immersion in the rich cultural heritage of her native land.

Mythology and play open up opportunities for a deep study of the Russian cultural and historical context. They help us understand our connection to our collective past and present, allowing us to transcend the boundaries between reality and fiction, which have become increasingly blurred in recent years. These aspects are important for shaping identity and understanding cultural heritage, which contributes to a more complete appreciation of our history and its impact on the present day.

    From the project description

The project aims to develop an innovative solution that will ensure effective user interaction with digital products. The primary goal is to create an intuitive interface that will provide maximum convenience and accessibility for all user categories. Particular attention is paid to the use of modern technologies and methodologies, which will optimize workflows and increase productivity.

The project plans to implement a responsive design that will ensure correct display on various devices. This will allow users to easily interact with the platform on both mobile and desktop devices. By focusing on SEO optimization, we strive to improve the project's visibility in search engines, which will help attract new audiences and increase engagement.

A key aspect of the project is the creation of content that is not only informative but also interesting for the target audience. This will increase the time users spend on the site and reduce the bounce rate. All stages of development will be carried out incorporating user feedback, which will help improve functionality and meet customer needs.

Thus, the project is aimed at creating a high-quality and effective product that will be in demand on the market and meet modern user requirements.

The photo project includes 20 images, but its implementation is still ongoing. The artist plans to release a photo book that will collect all the works.

The project is a unique combination of documentary and art photography. It includes both documentary footage and staged shots. For example, the photographs of the religious procession, which takes place annually in the Kirov region, are a striking example of a documentary approach. This significant event attracts many pilgrims, and I had the opportunity to participate in it, capturing moments with the participants. However, most of the photographs in the project are staged, which allows for a more artistic and emotional context.

The artist, creating staged shots, draws on local legends, such as the myth of the yeti or the story of the Vyatka kikimora. She develops a concept that allows these characters to be visualized, conveying her unique artistic vision through photography. Each image becomes not only an interpretation of a legend, but also a work of art, immersing the viewer in an atmosphere of mythology and folklore.

The artist shares her experience in creating photographs: "I had a pre-developed plan for the shoot, and most of the shots were planned in advance. However, sometimes reality intervenes, resulting in chance shots that often turn out even better than planned." Such moments highlight the importance of flexibility in the creative process and demonstrate how unexpected situations can enrich artistic vision.

"Treasury" was created without the use of digital technology, with minimal post-processing of the photographs.

While working on her project, the artist sought to understand the Vyatka identity. She sought out the unique features of this region that cannot be found anywhere else. During her research, she managed to make unexpected and interesting discoveries.

Natasha spent a long time searching for a definition of Vyatka identity and came to the conclusion that it is difficult to distinguish it from a historical point of view. She notes that the Kirov region represents a kind of median cross-section of Russian reality, and that residents of this region are typical representatives of central Russia. The Vyatka region has no indigenous peoples or distinctive characteristics unique to it. Thus, Natasha defined the Vyatka identity through the fabulous atmosphere of this place, which enriches the regional culture and creates a unique perception of its history and traditions.

The artist drew attention to the unique features of the region, inspired by local folklore. In the Kirov region, for example, there are places where residents continue to search for traces of the yeti. These so-called places of power attract people who turn to them for support and assistance. Local legends and traditions become an important part of the region's cultural identity, emphasizing the residents' connection to their history and nature. For the author, "Treasury" represents a journey back to her roots and a chance to preserve a childlike perception of the world. It is a space where one can find inspiration and enrich their creative palette, while preserving the purity and sincerity of childhood emotions. It is important to remember that such a treasure trove helps not only in writing but also in understanding the world around us, allowing one to see it with new eyes.

While working on this project, I feel my inner self regaining its meaning, she shares. Although I left the Kirov region a long time ago, I regularly return there to capture this story. The search for my identity continues and may end with the completion of the project.
